Our Story: A History of Excellence Since 1976
FACTS Academy was founded in 1976 with a simple but powerful conviction: that every child deserves a learning environment where curiosity is celebrated, creativity is nurtured, and every individual is seen, valued, and challenged to grow.
What began as a small school with a handful of visionary educators and a dedicated group of families has blossomed into one of the region's most respected educational institutions. In our early years, classes were intimate and community ties were close-knit — and that spirit has never left us. As Lincoln grew and the needs of families evolved, so did we. Through the decades, FACTS Academy expanded its programs, facilities, and faculty, always guided by the founding belief that excellence in education is not an accident — it is the result of intention, investment, and care.
By the 1990s, our enrollment had grown substantially, prompting the development of distinct elementary, middle, and high school divisions — each designed to meet students precisely where they are in their developmental journey. The early 2000s brought expanded arts and athletics programs, reinforcing our commitment to developing the whole child, not just the academic one. Today, FACTS Academy proudly serves 345 students annually, maintains a student-teacher ratio of 15:1, and boasts a 95% college acceptance rate — milestones that reflect nearly 50 years of dedication to our students and community.
Through every chapter of our history, one thing has remained constant: the people of FACTS Academy — our teachers, families, alumni, and students — are what make this place extraordinary.
